Maybe you don’t have some compilers or libraries. For instance, I had to install gtkmm-2.4:

aptitude install libgtkmm-2.4-dev

If you’re using Ubuntu (or any of its variations) or Linux Mint and you get this error:
configure: error: +Could not find gtkmm-2.4. Please update PKG_CONFIG_PATH to point at location of gtkmm pkgconfig files directory.

Simply type this in the terminal:
sudo apt-get install libgtkmm-2.4-dev

After that run the “./configure” command again and follow rest of steps :)

@arb Creo que PSPShrink usa internamente ciso…Y como este es gráfico, pues le va mejor a personas no tan acostumbradas a un terminal ;)

el mejor compresor (en mi opinión) es “ciso”, lo podemos encontrar en los repositorios de ubuntu, por ejemplo, pero claro no es grafico.
