I decided to take Twitter seriously, so I installed Turpial because I had read about it. Two things got my attention: It’s developed by Venezuelans; and it aims to consume as less resources as possible, like the package’s descriptions says:
"Alternative client for twitter network. Written in Python, its goal is to be a low-consuming resources application that integrates to the user's desktop without losing functionality"
