Alexa skill: Días Festivos

Today I received the approval of the publication of my first Alexa skill in Spanish. The name of the skill is Días Festivos, and lets you know when is the next holiday of a particular month, ask for some holidays such as when Christmas falls, or how many holidays have a month.

The countries where you can check the holidays are Argentina,Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Isle Of Man, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, México, Netherlands, New Zealand,, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Slovenia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Wales.

NOTE: If your country is not listed, the skill will use Spain as the default country.

Installation

To install the skill go to the Alexa app and enable the skill Días festivos

How does it work?

Like any skill, ask Alexa to open the skill:

After the welcome message you can ask:

¿Cuándo es el próximo feriado?

You can also ask Alexa directly in this way:

Alexa, pregúntale a días festivos cuando cae navidad Alexa, pregúntale a días festivos cuántos días feriados tiene febrero Alexa, cuándo es el próximo feriado
